Introducing Full & Half ROAM: Everesting, Evolved

For years, Everesting has stood as one of the purest tests in endurance sport: one climb, repeated until you reach 8,848 meters of elevation. A simple idea with a brutally honest execution.

But the Everesting community is constantly evolving: exploring, redefining, pushing boundaries.
And now, Everesting evolves with you.

Meet the Full ROAM and Half ROAM categories

The newest additions to the Everesting challenge open the door for athletes who want the same elevation goal, the same sense of achievement, but with the freedom to roam beyond a single climb.

Full ROAM: accumulate 8,848m without repeats
Half ROAM: accumulate 4,424m without repeats

Ride anywhere. Explore your backyard or cross entire mountain ranges. The goal remains the same: earn your elevation with purpose, grit, and strategy, no repeats required.

Why ROAM?

Over the years, thousands of athletes have shared the same thought:
“I’d love to do an Everesting… but the reps aren’t for me.”

ROAM gives riders a new way to take on the world’s most iconic endurance challenge, still hard, still honest, but reimagined for athletes who thrive on adventure, variety, and long-range exploration.

Same challenge. Endless ways to conquer it.

Whether you’re climbing across local ridgelines, or designing your own all-day and all-night, point to point epic, ROAM gives you the freedom to choose your route and climb your way.

And yes, every validated ROAM is officially recorded in the Everesting Hall of Fame.
