“In November 2021, I was riding my bike and a car hit me from behind. I flew across the road for 5 meters and the impact on the ground caused me to break a vertebra. After 5 weeks in hospital and an operation on my spine in which they installed 2 20 cm long bars that keep my back straight, I started walking again. They had told me that I would struggle to stay on the bike for more than a few hours, yet on June 27, 2024 I achieved my FIRST Everesting by bike. On the day of my Everesting, I opened a fundraiser and raised 2000€ for an Italian association that helps terminally ill cancer patients. I doubled the donations with my own of the same amount reaching 4000€.
