On 22nd June, Gravel bike adventures brought together an incredible crew for an Everesting crew ride in Boulder, Colorado.

“We hosted a women’s-only team event in which participants gravel biked in teams of four. The total combined elevation of each team aimed to complete the elevation of Everest in one day, and we chose the Four Mile Canyon and Gold Hill climb out of Boulder that only had to be repeated twice,” say founders Rose and Laura.

“Even ‘just’ doing a Quarter Everesting is a daunting challenge, especially on dirt, but having an awesome group of women to do it with made it fun. We amped up the energy, cheered, and gave high-fives to keep each other going,” they add.

Exceptional vibes.

There was even a bear sighting near the top. “A special thing, even in Colorado.”

This was a celebration of community, challenge and inclusion.

Gravel’s booming. And Everesting belongs here, especially when it looks like this.
