Benoît Gandolfi, france
“I’m proud of my performance but I hope someone breaks it soon so I can go again!”
Who’s Got the Legs to Break This Record?
Saturday, 28 August 2021. In Gérardmer, a small French town near the German border, sports teacher Benoît Gandolfi hit the ski slope to attempt a world record for the quickest full shuttled Everesting on foot.
“I discovered Everesting just after lockdown in May 2020 and found the concept incredible. Anyone could try doing it anywhere”, he says.
After a whole year of training that’s exactly what Benoît Gandolfi did. He set an incredible time of 8:52:13 – almost 9 hours up and down – in an Everesting record that still stands today.
