Everesting

roam Rules

Climb more than 10,000m vertical in less than 36 hours, with a minimum of 400km distance. Sleep is allowed (while the clock is ticking), and in fact it should form part of your strategy!

Everesting Roam is all about the joy of plotting something epic and unusual. With the ability to start the two days in different locations you should be getting creative with what can be achieved.

  • To complete the challenge you must gain the total elevation of 10,000m (32,809ft) in one effort.
  • There is no limitation on how you gain this vertical height. It does NOT need to be completed on the one hill. You can complete it on a route including multiple different hills or segments.
  • Your end point for day one does not have to be the starting point for day two, so get creative. You could potentially do the second day’s climbing in another country!
  • Your attempt must be recorded on Strava.
  • 36 hour maximum elapsed time limit to complete the 10K Roam.
  • Sleep is allowed during the attempt.
  • Breaks are allowed.
  • You need to keep your device recording the whole time. All meal and sleep breaks count towards total elapsed time.
  • A minimum 400km must be ridden.
  • To complete an Everesting Roam you must gain the required 10K vert with a minimum of 400km distance for the total journey within a 36 hour elapsed time limit.
