BROMPTON EVERESTING CHALLENGE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Scope and acceptance
These Supplementary Terms apply exclusively to participation in [Challenge Name] (the “Sponsored Challenge”) and supplement the General Terms & Conditions accepted by the user upon creating their Everesting account. In the event of conflict, these Supplementary Terms shall prevail in all matters relating to the Sponsored Challenge.
Participation in the Sponsored Challenge requires express acceptance of these terms via the “I accept and join the challenge” button. The user confirms they are at least 18 years of age or, where applicable, have obtained the consent of their legal representative.

The data controller for personal data processed in the context of the Sponsored Challenge is:

3. Data transferred and recipient
In connection with participation in the Sponsored Challenge, Everesting Challenge S.L. will transfer the following personal data of the participant to Brompton Bicycle LTD (the “Sponsor”):
- Full name
- Email address
- Country of residence
- Challenge participation data (start date, completion status, and result)
The transfer is carried out solely for promotional and commercial purposes related to the Sponsored Challenge, including the Sponsor’s communications about the challenge and its products or services.
4. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for both the processing and the transfer of personal data is the user’s express consent, given at the time of joining the Sponsored Challenge, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).
5. Independent responsibility of the Sponsor
Once the transfer has taken place, Brompton Bicycle LTD acts as an independent data controller and is solely responsible for its own processing activities. Participants may consult the Brompton Bicycle LTD’s Privacy Policy for full details of such processing.
6. Retention period
Everesting Challenge S.L. will retain participant data for as long as necessary to manage the Sponsored Challenge and, once concluded, for the periods required by law to address any potential liabilities. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without retroactive effect.
7. Participant rights
In accordance with the GDPR and LOPDGDD, participants may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access to personal data
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to processing
- Withdrawal of consent, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
To exercise these rights with Everesting Challenge S.L., participants must submit a written request to [email protected], stating the right they wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of their identity document. Requests will be addressed within a maximum period of one month from receipt, extendable by a further two months in cases of particular complexity.
For data held by the Sponsor, participants must contact Brompton Bicycle LTD directly.
Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es if they consider that the processing of their data does not comply with applicable regulations.
8. Voluntary nature of acceptance
Acceptance of these Supplementary Terms is voluntary. Declining will not affect the participant’s general Everesting account or their ability to participate in non-sponsored challenges.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Supplementary Terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from their interpretation or application, the parties submit, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply, to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona.
